Have you ever seen how is Aston and how is Birmingham University then?
Ok, Birmingham is where I applied last year and I have been there for the interview, to compare Birmingham and Aston is such a joke, you can obviously saw so many advantages that Birmingham has but not in Aston such as the teaching quality, the facility, the low ratio student:staff, the high number of students in first class and 2.1, and especially the ranking in thetimes. Birmingham is one of the second top Unis in England meanwhile, Aston is floating in the middle of the ranking. So dun try to make a freaky comparision like this. I can certain that, Birmingham is totally in a higher level than Aston is. Remember that, Aston wished to have a good location as Birmingham has now.
About Hertfordshire, you completely did not understand what i meant in my previous post. I said it s good here means the manner of the advisor to students who really wanna find a place to study in England. I know, most Universities have gone to Vn for this exhibition are not really good since I didnt see their names in the ranking of England University except for Birmingham and Nott Universities (probably my criterion to evaluate a University is too high but it s my opinion).
Talking about people who failed in all subjects at a-level, according to what I knew about the policy of Ucas from UCas guide said "if you failed in any subjects that you have taken, you have no chance to get any universities in England, and we highly recommened you to retake all subjects in the following year". Example tt you have given is an impossible one unless he got a very special communication in money with this University.
However, as matter of fact, if you want to apply for Hertfordshire or other universities in the same level as this, you dun need to take a-level coz they will probably accept you with VNese qualification. Or if they offer you with Ucas point which bases on your A-level results, i think this point cannot be higher than 100-120 (I mean 3D's or 1C and 2E)
)m it s kinda like a gift of god for you rite. But watch out! it will go with sucky teaching quality.
Last but not least, I just want to say something to Mr.Tuan, have you ever applied for any Universities in England? I guess you havent, since you are still in As now (That is what my friend said and you know who my friend is). Therefore, you shouldnt give such an sensitive opinion like Aston is better than Birmingham, or something else like that. Should see the real thing before making a more accurate statement.
