Well, there are thousands of colleges in the US, don't you think instead of wondering what school you should not apply to, which is quite a grand question, you should not give a list of schools that you've had in mind and post your stats so we can give you some thoughts, however irelevant they might be?
As to whether a school is leaning toward liberalism or a nest of freaking conservative minds, in my opionion, is quite irrelevent when it comes to the cases of us Vietnamese students. first of all, what you need is a place to go to, which offers of ample aids to survive the four expensive years of college. Second of all, in a regular American academic setting much though the school might lack in diversity of skin colors as well as though orientations, one, if he/she is keen enough to find out, will always find for one's self the place to belong to.
