your feelings when taking the toefl test?

I guess I was being biased towads your teachers. They surely helped you with some aspects of English, but I'd say you deserve most of the credits.
Anyway, I think we should stop talking about her stellar academic abilities, since, being a very modest person, Nhung might feel uneasy having to see people talking about her(good things of course) on a public forum.

To Đức: As always, you're thinking too well of me. I am neither modest nor do I have any 'stellar abilities'. But you're right in one aspect: I feel quite uneasy talking about myself. So, I'd appreciate it if we could stop digressing from the main topic: how everyone felt when taking the TOEFL ^_^

geez, When I see this topic, I can't help but think of it this way: How every one feel about the fact that there exists such a individual whose skills and talents far surpassed so many others and that she's going to HArvard.

Whoops.. Sorry, you're quite wrong in assuming that I am any better than my classmates. To be honest, I think I was enormously lucky to have been accepted Early Action, as the Regular Admissions competition is fierce this year ^_^ Đức's unfair in discrediting my teachers entirely like that. But I don't know how to answer your question, Long. As I have said on some thread, it really was a gradual process in which my English improved bit by bit. School leaves me no time to 'study' English traditionally, so I absorb new knowledge mostly through reading books and newspapers, watching TV, exchanging emails, and surfing the Net (all in English, of course).
I applied to your school, too, Long (gosh, people must be teasing you all the time because of your name :") ). It would be a regular dilemma if I were accepted at both schools, esp. now that you've transferred to Amherst ) Well, I hope Harvard's finaid decision arrives in time so that I can withdraw my application from other places.

O well, anyway, nobody can dispute you are a talent. I really wish to see you soon someday.
Ponder the dilemma, Nhung :lol: I doubt that you will be rejected by Amherst. You are right, you have me here in Amherst What good does Harvard do to you anyway Academically stimulating? Amherst might not offer you as much stimulation in that sense. But what about emotional stimulation :lol: know what I mean? I would counsel very much against Harvard when it comes to the dilemma , hehehe, j/k You won't receive anything less than a full scholarship from Harvard, that's for sure. Have fun over there. Boston is a gorgeous college town, you'll enjoy it. However, I trust that whenever you need get away from the crowd, and esp when you need some emotional stimulation, you know where to go :mrgreen:
