Anyhow that will not happen . There are specific medical reasons that sister/brother relationships cannot occur. There is medical evidence of genetic defect with children and the like. There is no medical evidence in regards to men and men being married, or women and women.

The conservative slant is that once you allow this abomination of nature to take place, by allowing gays to be married. Next thing you know Murder will be legalised and society as we know it will go down the toilet. What they do not understand is, this really is not a moral arguement, this is a civil right arguement. Morality is what we make of it, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Catholic, Atheist, our morality(in USA) is the great melting pot that is this country no w. But since the conservatives have embraced the religious right evangelicals, they are pushing their brand of christian morality on the rest of us. Gays are on the opposite spectrum to them from 'normal' people, thus to them, stating that they are equal in statue makes it like stating that the devil is equal to them.

by the way, this will never happen in vietnam(I mean not even the idea)

its happening, in US, Oregan and San Francisco are giving marriage lisences to gay couples.........so what the point of keeping it illegal ??????? when they are actually living like married couples, and they adopt children,too.

8-} drugs are being done in every statge... wy not make that illegal also... murder is happening in other states... why not make that legal too... come on that logic is flawed.

Hell no Nga, read my post again, it was a sarcasm of comparision. If incest somehow can be supported by technology to avoid hereditary consequence, what is it different from gay marriage ? Yet you can say gay marriage is a civil movement but mind you, moral's mutual agreement must be practiced at the first place and not only do the believers oppose gay marriage but also do non-believer. When I meant culture's moral and tendency is that human's development tend to eliminate factors that alter their livings into a destructive future. In my opinion, the question is whether allowing gay marriage will jeopardize the society later, seriously what will happen ?

okay, first the incest portion... good point, BUT you introduce something that is unlike this situation. That is the inclusion of technology. That is the fatal flaw in that logical step.

It is a civil movement, you are keeping a certain percentage of people from doing what they want, without harming anyone, they just want equality. Two consenting adults seeking the same rights as a married couple and being denied that right is wrong. It does not matter what you believe in, 40 years ago people thought minorities were inferior, how is that different than what is going on now?

gay marriage does not jeopardize anyone's future. Except for the people that get married and have to go through divorce proceedings later one.

Morals, shmorals.... Morals are created by the family, the individual... not by some religious organization that has problems keeping their holy men from sexually abusing little boys and nuns.
