Sorry , as I open this topic, I do not tend you to make fight one another in comparing between GB and US.
We can not persuade others whether Britain or Us is betters, it is personal comment.
We just only talk about what you think it's good to say and for other people

I haven't been to other LACs, so it would be tempting to compare the number of snobs at Bates with others. As far as I'm concerned, Bates has quite a number of snobs - typical rich, white and ignorant kids.

By the way, for the latter, I heard from one friend of mine at Smith that Amherst is popular spot for Smith party animals, who are perceived to be queer unless proven otherwise :))
