Windy Day

WINDY DAY.

(I walk out and it is a windy day . "Common! Blow stronger!)

Blow away all my sadness.
Don't flirt with leaves on your way.
Don't be so gentle in order to flatter me.
You've got to go to your destination.

Therefore,

Be cruel to robber me.
I have my weakness for you.
I have a melting heart for you.
Come and sweep them away!

Let your coldness torture my body.
Come deep to my breath,
Into my lung and the whole atteries in me.
Wake up my strength!

(It starts raining).

Bring with you the rain.
Drop some cold tears on my face,
Depress all nature in the poorest color
The foggy whiteness every where.

You know why?
Because I want to become a Wind

When you slap my face with your coldness,
When you suck my energy from my atteries,
When you wet my body in your damn raining,
When you make me blind by painting the whole world in sadness,
Then I wake up, and sparkle in the sad world

(I cannot see anyone I know, it is only me walking hurriedly.)

(I manage to straighten my umbrella).

We've got to go to our destination!
Don't flirt with days and life
I cannot stop to think
So, slap me as strong as you can!

(I won't let you destroy my umbrella--it is my mom's present)

I don't wish for long lasting
Let me be invisible and have no heart...

It's windy!

I am afraid of one day
No one realize that wind stop blowing
Because we are invisible, and heartless...

(Such a sad day!)

hi Phương: I really like your poems. They are quite authentic. Just to remind you that there is a thread called "Our English Poems." You can post all yours in that thread.
Thanks

I really like this paticular poem. I ache at the depth of feelings presented here, and the imagery is just breath-taking. Yea, just like a windy day; the poem leaves me totally winded and lost...

May I please have permission to add this to the Inspitation column in our English newspaper E-HAO? I will credit you properly if teh poem is used, and send you the link once it is posted.

I am glad that you like it. Every windy day is same, but our feeling for everyday are such notes of a melody that will absorb nature differently. You can add it, you're wellcome! Your feeling for my poem is more than what i hope. Thanks!
