I used to set a picture drawn by me as the background, it's ugly with a green sun, blue flowers and...a gold moon (Don't know why). Uhhmm, then a pix of Roman Senate, Colloseum,... too many. Now it's a Globe from space (just to make me feel connected to the world)

As for me, I like animal wallpapers, especially dolphin wallpaper. They are so lovely
I don't like pics of people .I don't know why but I think i prefer to see real people in the life rather than see them in pictures

Hey, Hiền Hòa, I like your a-cook-chopping-a-running-featherless-chicken avatar. So nice! Since then your avatars have changed from bad to worse (jk).

This avatar makes me "shudder" at the thought that if all desktop items could run around like this, how would the mouse catch them?

BTW, can you make animations? How to make the picture change from one to another?

I was just going to suggest that you two, Linh + Hòa, downsize your wallpapers a bit + upload them here for us to marvel at ;

I like this weird one, Hoa`. Except, it's pink, which may pain the eye if I look at it too long, which again is unavoidable as i'm stuck to my PC almost all day T_T Which software do you use to create your avatars + wallpapers?

Well, there is an impossible (!) size limit for avatars, which makes animations quite difficult to use. Waiting to see your work, anyway )

Let me change this to RIDICULOUS size limit - I can't even use one teeny-tiny picture as an avatar, not to speak of an full-sized animation T_T Well, hope you have more luck fitting the Phoenixes into 20KB )

I use Photoshop.
