Hiddink: I Have Played Barcelona Twice In My Head
Barcelona have already lost twice to Chelsea in Guus Hiddink's mind games and he is confident that Jose Bosingwa is the man to stop Lionel Messi.
Guus Hiddink has revealed that he has already beaten Barcelona twice with Chelsea in his head as he thoroughly analyses every game in the build-up by thinking through every minute of the game.
The Dutchman is thorough in his preparations for matches and now he has explained how he likes to sit back and think through matches and include tactics, moves and substitutions.
While Hiddink would not say what had happened in the two games in his head, he did reveal that Chelsea won both and now he is hoping the same thing can happen in reality on Tuesday in Camp Nou.
“You have to think ahead and I have played Barcelona twice in my head," The Sun quote him as saying.
The imaginary games have included Jose Bosingwa stopping Lionel Messi from performing as Hiddink explained that he has high hopes of the full-back being able to cope with the Argentinian.
“In my head, I have never lost a game in preparation! But you have to focus a lot on the difficulty and the complexity of the job Bosingwa has to do," the manager continued.
"Jose has stiffness in his thigh but there is nothing to be worried about.
“He has not played recently, so it is natural that he has suffered some reaction. But it has nothing to do with the hamstring injury he has had.
“It will be tough in Barcelona, but he has to do it. Let him do the job, don’t focus on the difficulty.
“He is facing one of the most attractive players in the world. But we can’t just focus on Messi – if you do that, you neglect the power of their other players and they can harm you.”

Henry: ‘Brave’ Barcelona Do Not Fear Chelsea Champions League Tie
The French international forward insists that la Blaugrana are courageous enough to overcome the Blues in the Champions League semi-final.
Barcelona striker Thierry Henry feels that the Spanish giants demonstrated that they have the fortitude to see off Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final following their Primera Division draw with Valencia on Saturday.
Los Cules fought back from 2-1 down at the Mestalla to earn a vital point thanks to an 85th minute equaliser from the French international.
La Blaugrana have been installed as favourites to win Europe's top competition this season and the 31-year-old believes they have the mettle and the nerve to give themselves a chance to lift the trophy by beating the Blues to book a place in the final.
"We showed what courage we have as a side," Henry is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.
"That was the type of performance that wins you trophies. We lost our concentration twice and they made us pay but we are a brave team and we came back into the game.
"Now all our attention turns to Chelsea, Real Madrid and then Chelsea again."
