Oxford Open Day for Vietnamese Students 2004
In order to encourage more applications from Vietnamese students into Oxford University, as well as to support the Vietnamese candidates with queries regarding undergraduate and postgraduate admission, the Vietnamese Society in Oxford University (VOX) would like to organise the Oxford Open Day for Vietnamese Students 2004 and welcome participation from any interested potential candidates.
Date: 08 May 2004
Venue: Old Seminar Room- Wadham College- Parks Road- Oxford (enclosed map)
The schedule of the day includes:
Morning:
11:30 am: Guided tour to colleges of Oxford
13:00 pm: Lunch in the town centre
The Mathematics and Computer Science Department will also be hosting their own Open Day in the morning. Students who are interested in these subjects are strongly encouraged to join these events, the information of which can be found at:

The interested students should make their registration directly to the relevant Department as explained in the above links

14:15 pm: Dr. Mary Gregory- Fellow of Economics of St Hilda’s College explaining the expectations of interviewers in the admission interviews
14:30 pm: Questions and Answers
14:45 pm: Tips from current Vietnamese students in Oxford University:
- Admission process for undergraduates/ postgraduates
- Information about different courses
- How to choose a college
- Interviewing tips
- Scholarships
- Academic and social life of Oxford students (undergraduates/ postgraduates)
(The presentation is expected to finish at 16:30 pm)
We are especially grateful for the support of Oxford University Student Union, who have provided prospectus, alternative prospectus and other helpful materials for the attendants
