Hello everyone,

As I siad before, I plan to retire and leave this forum. As a good moderator, I will help Mr. Admin to choose a new one.

The standards are simple:

1) Enthusiasm
2) Good command of English

Benefits:

1) Be moderator of a good board
2) Get assess to invisible boards
3) Practise writing English
4) Many more...


Just tell me right away if you meet the two requirements. If there are more than one person applying for this post. I'll choose the more suitable based on your posts in this board.

Even if my name is still seen, the new moderator will decide everything.
The deadline is on June 12th, 2003AD.

I vote for Hòa...she seems to have been a bit childish on this board but since her english is practically good and she's the only one so far who's interested in the position...and she will grow up, hopefully :)

If Hiền Hòa is the only applicant, I choose her. Huong, will you apply?
 
I thought that you'd already chosen Hòa. So..SELECT ME, I believe I can do well. I'm not just enthusiastic, but very enthusiastic. I swear, by the moon and the stars in the sky, I will do my best if chosen.
 
You forgot one thing.After u apply,they will censor your applicant for 6 months.So the future mod must be patient.So patience is the third standard. :D

I have no patience at all. I feel like I don't wanna try anymore. So....good luck to you sis Huong, I don't give up but am simply bored. Yeah, I'm that boring. But if you want me to be the moderator, I will be.
 
Oh, Hiền Hòa, it's just like me. I feel bored with my intention from time to time. Don't give up. Just force yourself one time. Being a moderator is a good experience;). I had to wait for a week or so. And I was recommended by a trustworthy person and wrote several complaint mails . You should find someone to do this. The choosing proccess will be more prompt. I have done that for you, but you know that I'm not a trustworthy person.

First, you will need to show people, that you have the ability, and you can do a good job, as well as being a good moderator (by doing, not saying, and complaining). You will be accepted when you can show the potential.

Second, you need to learn how to make a good application. The address and reason to join the team are empty.

Show me some potential, you will be considered.
 
There are 2 applicants so far, huh.... Anyone else???
No ofense but I think the more people apply, the better the club will be since they will have to complete and show that what contribution they can bring to the club. Everybody has his or her strength so I am sure that it is not easy to pick the leader. As Mr. Ha said, you need to be involved with the club and show your work. I believe that all members will support whoever the new moderator will be.We are here to have fun, learn from each other, make friends and so on.
Just one suggestion, I think it would be better if the new moderator is in VN. :)
Good luck to both Huong and Hoa. I think either of you would make great contribution to the club. And since there is only 1 spot, you two can still work together to help the Club grow stronger. Maybe, Mr. Admin will consider about opening a new Vice. Moderator position ;-)

I dont mind having more than one moderator, as long as they can do good job, and get along well.

Rightnow, there're 2 moderators: Dam Linh and Hong Nhung. I think Nhung's still in charge of the board.
 
My reason for wanting to be the moderator of this board is quite dull. I want to know what being a moderator would feel like, and English board is one of my favourite boards so...yeah that's it.
I'll try to show my ability...try to write good English...make no mistake...
For those who are thinking I gave up, no, I don't give up. I'll try my best to get the position. Promise.

Well, this board will lose one of the most important moderators as well as member. I can c many posts here were written by Vu Dam Linh. But that is her choice.

We need a good person to replace her. I expect all candidates will make this board more interesting and helpful. To Hien Hoa: u're good at English, enthusiastic, and ambitious. But this post is still open for others. Good luck!
 
I think I'm stupid. Just thought that I'm the most devoted person in this board, who paid great attention to it, so I could have made a just decision about new moderator:(. And I thought I was responsible to choose a successor. I did not want to leave this board astray after my leaving. Actually, I caused irritation to the Admin and trouble and embarassment to myself (I promised to set the winner as moderator right away). Sigh, stupid person, stupid human. Lots to learn in life.

After 19th (the meeting), I won't be moderator any longer. And from now on, I throw all my responsibilities away. Don't criticize me for any reasons concerning this board.

Farewell. Thank you all for your support in the last 6 months. I had much fun and experience. Wish the new mod will do thousands of times better than I did. Wish this board a good place for all.
 
Hiền Hòa, ironic to say, I wrote that this board lacked a mod, that's all. Reasons are always/only reasons. Don't bother them. Grasp what you like! A trustworthy person? Ask for Nhung.
