Dear future E-HAO contributors,

Who's Who - E-HAO is looking for enthusiastic interviewers to conduct interviews with various notable Amsers, and non-Amsers who have had significant influence on the development of our school and HAO.

Interiviews can be conducted in either Vietnamese or English, but you should be in charge of having your final piece in English. That having said, when you submit your piece for edition, if the interviews are conducted in languages other than English, the original version should be attached.

We hope you will be proud enough of all our distinguished Amsers to introduce them to other non- Vietnamese speakers...

Let me know if you have any ?

Best,

Quynh My

Who would be able to conduct interviews with either Dinh Vu Trang Ngan, Do Quoc Anh, Bui Phuong Anh.... or your idol?

Let me know ASAP,

Sorry about my dumb post girls. But seriously, by which method do you plan on conducting interviews with people around the world? It can all be done by one person via chatting, I suppose at least.

Hmm....Mr. Ha` (Mr+first name, hư`) doesnt accept this form --> make it much harder x-(

So what does he want? Face to face? You are right. That way makes it hard for both the interviewer and the interviewee.

Listen, Gaming communities have been using chatting as a way to interview famous players for years, and I know well that a chatting inverview can get as personal and closed-up as a face-to-face one.

Infact, the interviewee may actually feel more liberated when he can express him self by words, just words, and maybe some smilies. Just imagine how easy it is for YOU to chat rather than talk face to face with some one with whom you might not have the confidence to talk.

And on top of the line, heck, is conveniency. All you have to do is schedule some time to meet on line, type up some questions, wait for a while should he be a slow typer to get his answers, and there, done.

Frankly, what kind of things has a face-to-face interview got that a chatting one hasn't? A picture of the interviewer hugging the interviewee? That might be a desirable bonus for the interviewer, but ultimately it's not necessary. (at least I think sooo, unless I was the interviewer and Ms. [blank] is the other person)

Hope Mr. Hà agrees and make it easy -er for you guys.

oh shoot, you know what, I just realized I mistook "E-HAO" for Electronic HAO. I recently discovered that it's an English version of HAO. Sorry for all the worthless posts.

Frankly I have no idea what I can do. But if there is anything I'd be glad to take. Translation is a possible job, but it seems like you got enough guys. Tell me please.

What about the requirements?
If enthusiasm is the only one, i think i'm quite eligible, hehe. I know it's not though.
But, seriously, i think sis My should tell us more details coz to me, it sounds a bit obscure. Does a interviewer need to have a really great deal of English or just need to speak English well?

Hi, well, although My is responsible for Who'sWho in EHAO, maybe I can answer your question. Your English is absolutely enough for this cause when you interview, I am pretty sure that you will use Vietnamese.
You have an advantage of being in VN now cause lots of contributors to EHAO are studying overseas, which makes life harder. :D
So you should choose someone you admire or one of My's suggestions and volunteer to be responsible for the interview. My will be so happy to hear that. ;)

Btw, does anyone volunteer to contribute to Writings section in EHAO? :(( Finding someone is more difficult than I thought at first.

Preferably both ;) Btw, the two are often overlapping :)
As I have said, it's your choice whether to interview in Vnmese/English...but pls, have your final product in English... and also give me the Vnmese original version (if applicable).

So, pretty much, the interview procedure is up to you, there's no standard, but please take it serious, since it will make frontpage in E-HAO, cant be a mere chat through IM.

Any more ?

As a matter of fact, my speaking English is not very good, yet it would be great to talk to my "idols" in English.
Ya, After 30 Dec, i am absolutely free. I'm glad to do anything i can for HAO. Thanks a lot. (btw, who will be interviewee? Hong Nhung? ...? meo)

I want the translation? Tung, u'r askin' me?
Well, i said i wanna interview in English( if possible).
What ....? dun understand what's goin' on ppl.

Oh, Tung is asking if he can contribute something by using his translating skills .. right? :p Tung, I really need help with Writings. Who'swho has got enough guys...:D sorry My. Is any one interested???
To Hang: you can PM to My to ask for a suggestion (I don't think it will be Hong Nhung coz she is a mod of EHAO :) ) or you can find someone else you admire ( a hot guy) ;)

Now that i'm free from tests, i think i can do this interview work.
Well, sis My, do u know Do Ba Khiem? he's pretty famous. Since i dont know many cool ppl here, i'd like to conduct an interview with him. What do u think? (yet he's not HAO member)
He's come back vn a few days ago.

Sure :) very interesting interviewee ;)
G'luck with your interview :) My best regards to him :)
(Taft grad ;), good for u also, rite ;) )

Folks,

For those who had PMed me and asked abt interview procedures:

It's more than 2 weeks since any of u ever report anything back, so take this as a reminder.

To Tran Anh Dung: how's ur boston trip? Since sis Ngoc was in HN when u were in Boston, you couldn't conduct any interview with her rite? U still can, by emailing her with questions, i think it will still work too.

To Hang: How's your interview with Do Ba Khiem? I'm very looking forward to it since we're badly in need of interviews for EHAO frontpage soon

To Thanh Huong: I know u're very busy... but since most of the app. deadlines had passed, r u willin to lend a hand now?

Let's vote on some common free time, so we can have an YM conference chat,

- My

To Huong:What sort of stuff do you need for writing??? Although I was with this EHAO ever since it wasn't born but I still have no clue whatsoever about the task for each group:D
