I have this problem..

In "OUR ENGLISH POEMS" topic, there are lots of beautiful poems made by our members. And we really appreciate that.. But I have found out in another forum there is someone who "steals" those poems, without mentioning the source as well as the person who made them..

I don't know if this is acceptable, but i believe that this is so wrong. Firstly, it is copy right. Secondly, if i had made a poem, it is like my baby. Even though I want to show it to others, I do NOT expect them to "copy and paste" it some where else and pretend it's their..

It is not just ONE poem , it's EVERY SINGLE poem in the topic..
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!

One more thing: the above is just one thing that I accidentally discovered, I don't know how many other things have been stolen like this...

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION???

I honestly don't think she pretends all those poems are hers. That would be a stupid thing to do since you can easily tell that those poems were written by different people. Maybe she doesn't know she has to cite the source when copy and paste them. I will PM her about that. ;) hehe..it's fun to read my silly poems again :D
 
What's my opinion? It's typical of a little girl's behavior (and mine too), wanting to have something to post on to increase her posting record. She's innocent :)
 
:), She neither says that those poems are hers nor other's, she just copies and pastes .The only problem that she did not mention the source and did not ask for permision (he he, berne), that's all.I don't think she intends to steal them, as Sis Huong said, because it is too stupid to believe that all those are hers.Why don't we just talk to her and clear the "misunderstanding"?
However, it is nice to see the poems again.
 
ok then, maybe i was just over reacted.. but.. those poems was so nice.. that's why it drives me crazy finding out that.. anyway.. just forget it.. :)

but someone may want to tell her about the common sense to ask for permission of the writers

hi Hà, your concern is a very big issue for us when it comes to studying abroad, schools in other countries treat this matter of "plagiarism" very seriously. You can end up being expelled from school, hence, from the country :-& at least that's what the school's code says. So it's really nice to see we are aware of this problem at home, thanks for bringing this up :)
