Hey you, this board is kind of dying So, let's 'tâm sự'. I feel an urge to complain my thoughts away
I thought getting to study abroad was the major hurdle + everything afterwards would be a piece of cake ) Then suddenly, I don't want to leave anymore: Looking back, school perhaps troubled me most here, but it'll be over in less than 2 months. On second thoughts, the climate is not THAT bad. I'm moreover awfully attached to the Vietnamese cuisine. (Without school) I'm probably the happiest person alive.
I've spent this entire afternoon looking for a career *frown* Before, I was sure I knew what I eventually wanted to be. If only schools would assign more specific names to majors, like 'dentist major' or 'poet major' (Oh my gosh, this idea deserves an Ignoble) The present system (?) is quite impratical, anyway. For example, I learnt that I can be a lobbyist both as an English major + a Government major. So, what are the criteria for choosing one over the other? So far, I've narrowed the majors down to Government, East Asian Studies + English (Veery informative: http://web.stlawu.edu/career/major.htm ) Now I'm also afraid I won't manage the workload, esp. as all three majors are very writing- and reading-intensive.
*sigh* T_T
