Tư tưởng của bài viết này hơi lạc loài, hehe, but that is what I actually thought. Cứ comment thoải mái nhá ^^
“ If I were there, I would not let those things happen “
Oh, do you know how many times I have told myself like that ? One time, my friend introduced me a game. After several times playing it, I realized that the game is for fun only, and to be strategic, it needed revision. Then I rewrote it, a task that to one who has been trying to create game for years like me, is possible. Then I taught my old classmates its rule, and we played it for one year ‘till we parted our school. In which, there is an undeniable fact that after playing my revision, they all refused to play the computer – original version because they got used to hours of carefully thinking, organizing and planning rather than the superficial fun that can be sought easily in the Internet.
All the above would be meaningless if it didn’t catch me by surprise that, even though that game, if not every existing game, is created and written by a group of people, no one has the conscious of revising or at least fixing undeniable bug. Perhaps many of those studied and knew IT only, perhaps there are few in the world who studies writing game as academically as I did, it’s nonsense investing a huge amount of money while still making unacceptable mistakes. Not only in making game, I think, but also in many other fields in the world that many of us can do better than what were actually did.
“ If I were there, If I were one member of that group, I would fix all bugs. I would not let making mistake happen. “
Well, perhaps there is something else that I don’t understand. Assume that my creation is far better than theirs, so why in the world, there’re few playing mine but there’re thousands playing their product, huh ? The answer is that, needless to say, it’s because of their money and capacity to introduce their game to the world. Maybe, maybe. Finally, I learn that having chance to do something is far more important than the ability to do it ^^
