Number of sexual partners

People around the world have had an average number of 10.5 sexual partners


More than a quarter (27%) have had only one partner while 21% have had sex with more than 10 people


Men have had more sexual partners than women - 12.4 compared to 7.2


The Chinese have had more sexual partners than anyone else - 19.3 compared with the Brazilians (15.2), the Japanese (12.7) and the Danes (12.5)


Those in Vietnam have had the fewest sexual partners - 2.5 compared with Hong Kong (3.5), India (3.7) and Malaysia (4.2)

Unprotected sex

More than a third (35%) have had unprotected sex without knowing their partner's sexual history


Almost a quarter (24%) of 16-20 year olds admit to having taken this risk at least once and the figure rises to more than half in the 35-plus age group


Those most likely to have unsafe sex without asking about their partner's sexual history are the Danes, Swedes (both 64%), Japanese, Norwegians and South Africans (all 58%)


The lowest risk takers are people in India (20%), Vietnam (24%) and Spain (26%)

Sexiest features

A toned body (14%) - with the bottom (15%) and breasts and chest (14%) in particular - are the sexiest features. Men focus most on the breasts while women think eyes are the most sexy


One in 10 believe attitude is the sexiest factor while age, wealth and hair colour (all just 1%) are the least important things


More than a third of Swedes (34%) think attitude is the sexiest feature anyone can have while 23% of Danes go for sexy eyes and 32% of


Indians home in on the chest area

Time spent on foreplay

On average, people across the world spend 19.7 minutes on foreplay with men claiming to spend more time than women - 20.2 and 18.8 respectively


The younger age groups take the longest - 21.6 minutes for 16-20 year olds and 19.1 for 21-24 year olds compared to 17.3 minutes for the over 55s


The British spend the most time on foreplay (22.5 minutes), followed closely by the Germans (22.2), the Irish (21.8) and the Spanish (21.7)


The Thais spend the least amount of time (11.5 minutes) followed by those in Hong Kong (14.2) and the Vietnamese (15.2)

Frequency of sex

Globally, people are having sex an average of 103 times a year with women (106) having sex more frequently than men (101)


35-44 year olds are having the most sex (116) compared to just 91 times for the 16-20 age group


The French (137), Greeks (133) Hungarians and Serbian and Montenegrins (both 131) are having the most sex, while those in Japan (46), Hong Kong and Singapore (both 79) are the least sexually active

Sexual indulgence

More than a third (35%) watch pornography with their partner, 22% indulge in blindfolds or handcuffs and one in five uses sex toys


Watching pornography with their partner is more popular with women (38%) than men (33%) as is wearing blindfolds or handcuffs - 27% for women and 19% for men


South Africans are the nationality most likely to watch pornography (60%) while the Danes are the ones who most favour blindfolds or handcuffs (55%) and sex toys are most likely to be used by Icelanders


Almost eight in 10 people in Bulgaria, Croatia and the UK have indulged in one or more of these sexual activities compared to just 38% of Indians

Frequency of orgasms

While more than a third (35%) have an orgasm every time they have sex, men are far more likely to do so than women - 45% compared to 17%


More experienced lovers are most likely to have an orgasm every time they have sex with almost half of those in the 35-plus age group (48%) claiming to do so, compared to less than a third (32%) of 16-20 year olds


Italians are the most likely to reach a climax on every occasion (61%), followed by those in Serbia and Montenegro (56%) and Macedonians (54%)


More than one in 10 Chinese (11%) have never had an orgasm, followed by the Finns (10%), Indians and Swedes (both 8%)


A quarter of people have faked an orgasm in the past 12 months - although there is a major difference between the sexes with almost four in 10 women (39%) faking it compared to 17% of men


The Macedonians and Serbian Montenegrins are the most sexually satisfied with 82% not needing to fake an orgasm, followed by the Croatians, Hungarians and Italians (75%)

Age when first received sex education

More than one in six (15%) claim they did not receive any formal sex education


The average age for receiving formal sex education is 13.1 with 15% stating they were 10 or younger


Women learn the facts of life at a younger age - 12.8 compared to 13.4 for men


Today's 16-20 year olds were first taught about sex at an average age of 12.4 - almost two years earlier than those aged 44-55 (14.1)


Sex education is taught earliest in Germany (11.3), Austria (11.6) and Finland (11.8)


Vietnam (15.4), India (15) and Malaysia (14.6) are the oldest recipients

Who should teach sex education?

Almost half of respondents (47%) feel sex education should be taught by parents or guardians with just 27% believing it to be the responsibility of schools


Magazines, books or websites, healthcare professionals and the Government are the next most popular choices globally (all 6%)


Parents or guardians are most likely to be involved in sex ed in South Africa (77%), Switzerland (75%), Austria and the Netherlands (both 74%)


Schools are most likely to take the lead role in Norway, Sweden (both 60%), Denmark (50%) and France (46%)

Nhìn qua thì thấy dân ta đến năm 15.4 tuổi mới received sex education, già quá rồi, a Khải xem tổ chức mấy cái fee-free class cho anh em vùng sâu vùng xa cái chứ nhể. :D

cái Who should teach sex education thì theo em Vn mình chủ yếu là nhờ magazine/books/website, có thấy nhờ Parents mới school bao h đâu :-?
