I have a question... out of sheer curiosity (again):
why not accept transfer applications? is it meant to be for domestic vietnamese students only or is it the same for students currently enrolled at institutions in the US?

i just quoted this from the latest Williams prospectus Do not accept international transfers -- if you are not a US-citizen/permanent resident -- u'll fall in this category. Anyway, i'll check with the office later abt this, in case Amherst treats you not so well

I have received some more interview requests . Due to time constraint, we cant take more than 7... and the list was filled up right after the interview session info was passed out. For those who have received my feedback regarding the time/place of the interview slots, you're in ! For those who had signed up for the interview and have not received my reply, you're in the interview waitlist. I'll let you know if any of the interviewees drops out.

For those who registered for the presentation: all of you whose emails I received before Aug 22nd, regardless of whether or not you have received the final confirmation from Williams, are welcome to the meeting. I'll have a list of you printed -- please, remember to sign in at the reception table in front of the Iris Room...

sis My, i've just been put in an awkward and rather urgent situation. I can't take the interview at 1 pm Monday, but i just talked to my friend, Doan Hoang Lan, and she'd switch her time slot with mine. So my interview would be from 4 to 4.20.
Just think, i'd better tell you sooner.....but this's surely out of my control.
I'm sorry for any trouble it might cause.

Tí nữa em có interview với Ms. Geraldine Y. Shen đấy ạ . Lúc đầu định không apply Williams - giờ thấy Williams hơi bị dễ thương ^_^ -> đổi hướng sang Williams thui . By the way, tại sao Williams lại travel chung với Middlebury, Univ. of Virginia và đặc biệt là ... Amherst thế ạ ??? -> Tối qua trong presentation, họ "khoe" về their colleges tức cười lắm ạ . Ở đây có ai từ Amherst không, cái anh assistant director dễ thương (his accent is so cute ) nhưng khó tính quá (+ một chút haughty) -> không chơi với Amherst!!!
