Dear students interested in StudyAmerica,
Aware of an increasing number of interested and talented applicants from Vietnam to Williams College each year, we are happy to announce of our coming to Hanoi this August 30th, 2004, to hold a presentation about the school and to meet with potential applicants for the next school year.
Williams College is located in Massachusetts, USA, and is one of the first colleges in the United States. Since establishment in 1793, Williams has proved itself one of the best schools for undergraduate study in the country, and we are proud to be ranked the best Liberal Arts College by the famous and reliable US News.
Williams has admitted several international students over the past decade, and we take pride in providing students of whichever origin an opportunity to afford a well-rounded college education. That having said, we became one of the very first and few colleges in the States that adopt need-blind policy for international students. We consider applicants regardless of their financial situations, and make sure their financial needs are fully met once accepted.
Williams is a place of diversity, which has been built and shared by students from around the globe. However, each of us knows wherever we are from, we are all bonded by a unique Williams spirit that brings harmoniousness to the Purple Bubble. Clubs and organizations are social life enhancers, and the shiest person can find him/herself at home to join in.
With all these excellences in academics, generosity in financial aid, and friendliness of a liberal arts campus, we are sure that any student can fully develop his or her ability.
We have admitted students from Vietnam over the past decade to both the undergraduate study, and several Fulbrighters to the Center for Development of Economics, a graduate program at Williams. We hope, through this information session, you will find Williams as attractive and give yourselves a shot to the best education in the States.
